Our Mission

The Hamilton Community Church of the Nazarene exists to live out the grace of Jesus Christ in our local community and around the world. We participate in the life of our local community through the facilitation of Twelve Step gatherings, as well as providing opportunities for worship, study, and celebration.

Our congregation continues to learn and grow in their love for God, for their neighbor, and for their world. Together we continue to explore ways of demonstrating God's love and grace.

The Church is not an institution forcing us to follow rules but a community inviting us to still our hunger and thirst at its table.
— Henri Nouwen

Our Beleifs

  • We believe that God is at work in each of us, and we continue to grow in our understanding of him.

  • We believe in one God who graciously reveals Himself to us through the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.

  • We believe that we are redeemed through Jesus Christ. Through Jesus we are justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.

  • We believe that the Holy Spirit lives within us, filling us, guiling us, changing our desires that we may live as Children of God, reflecting hIs love and grace in our world.

Children's Ministry

Erin Branscome shares her gifts of love and grace with the children of our congregation. Her heart for justice and her love for others flows through her into the lives of those she leads. Although her ministry is to children, the entire congregation benefits from her heart and spirit.
