HERE’S WHAT’S ON FOR TONIGHT!

Joe Tate, our solo singer-songwriter opener, is a veteran Marin County musician and bandleader with a deep history from the San Francisco Sound of the 60's, when his band Salvation was heard on SF stages, opening for Chuck Berry, the Grateful Dead and other nationally known performers.  He also starred in the indie film "Last Free Ride" about the Sausalito houseboat community's resistance to gentrification that occurred in the 1970's.  After sailing around the Pacific, he settled again in Sausalito and now performs regularly at the Sausalito Cruising Club.  Still afloat!  Catch him at the Naz for a rare unplugged solo set of his great original songs.

Here, There, and Anywhere, a Marin County homegrown trio, features singer-songwriter and guitarist Norm Weintraub together with guitarist-singer and sound expert Fred Joseph; just the two together are amazing with their joyful, high-energy harmonies and hot licks, and now local prodigy Matt Jaffe joins in on guitar and vocals to really take it over the top!  These generous souls entertain folks in many care homes around the county, and now they are coming with their acoustic set to help us open our folk music coffeehouse.
